AnnaLisa C. Danysh

AnnaLisa’s primary focus is family law litigation, in which she has experience in a wide variety of issues, including divorces, financial disputes regarding the characterization and division of community and separate property, parentage proceedings, minor guardianships, private adoptions and post-decree disputes regarding property, support, and custody.  She also helps clients prepare and negotiate pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and she sometimes prepares estate planning documents for her clients. 

Prior to her career as a family law attorney, AnnaLisa was a complex commercial litigation attorney but she wanted to use her career to make a positive difference in her clients’ lives.  She therefore refocused her practice to work with clients with family law issues, and she considers it a privilege to partner with her clients to navigate their way through their often-complicated legal problems.  Above all, AnnaLisa is a pragmatist, and she works with her clients to identify reasonable compromises that promote and preserve their primary objectives.  However, the laudable goal of reaching an amicable settlement is sometimes unattainable; it is in these instances where AnnaLisa’s commercial litigation background is invaluable, equipping her to analyze financial information and records and to work with financial and medical expert witnesses. 

On a personal level, AnnaLisa tries to cultivate a sense of humor in all aspects of her life, including her work.  Having raised two children to young-adulthood, she recognizes that nothing helps a person survive life’s ups-and-downs better than an occasional heartfelt laugh shared with good friends or good clients.
