Todd is a shareholder at Inslee Best.  His practice focuses on representing clients in all aspects of construction law, from contract preparation to litigation.  Todd is experienced with jury trials, arbitration and appellate practice, including having appeared before the Washington and Idaho State Supreme Courts.
 
Todd has spent his entire working life in the construction industry, having grown up in a mechanical contracting family with a Northwest history going back four generations.  Todd was a 20-year construction management professional, before obtaining his law degree, having worked as a project manager for prominent Seattle-area general contractors, managing a diverse range of projects from hotels to historic remodels. In addition to his experience as a general contractor, Todd was the junior partner in a design/construct mechanical contracting business during the 1990s.
 
Todd is a frequent speaker on construction law topics to construction industry and business groups, and serves on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.  Todd has published many articles on construction and construction law topics, both locally and nationally.  He has contributed his work to 13 books on construction law topics, including multiple editions of ABA Publishing’s Federal Government Construction Contracts and Aspen Publishers’ Construction Law Update.

Todd enjoys golf, theater, Husky sports and Mariners baseball.
