  • Rod has been practicing law for over 30 years. His practice focuses on municipal law, with an emphasis on land use and environmental law. Rod serves as city attorney for cities, general and special legal counsel for water-sewer and fire districts, and legal counsel to the Washington State Association of Sewer and Water Districts.  With his extensive experience in land use and environmental law, Rod is well positioned to assist his municipal clients with development permits and approvals, comprehensive plans and development regulations, development agreements, State Environmental Policy Act issues, and other land use matters. He also handles complex issues related to public works construction, local improvement districts and intergovernmental contracting.

    Rod is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell*, the highest rating obtainable by members of the legal community.
