Kay L. Brossard

Kay focuses her practice primarily in real estate and business law. Her nearly 30 years of real estate experience encompasses financing, leasing, and drafting and negotiating various types of purchase and sale agreements, including those for vacant land, condominium developments and other commercial and residential properties.  She also has substantial expertise in negotiating and drafting leases and other agreements for mixed use projects and shopping centers, including leases to national retail tenants and reciprocal operating and easement agreements. A member of the firm's municipal law group, Kay also handles property transactions, including cell tower site use agreements, easements and purchase and sale agreements for water and sewer districts, cities and housing authorities. In her business practice, Kay handles entity formation and maintenance, and also represents small- to medium-sized businesses in connection with acquisitions, sales and day-to-day operations.  Kay also prepares wills and related estate planning documents. An avid horseperson, she also handles documentation relating to equine operations and transactions and takes a strong interest in the emerging area of animal law.
